My name is Evan and photography is a great passion of mine. I love taking pictures because they are snapshots of what was. Every picture is a millisecond of time that will never happen again. More than that, pictures are a way to mould reality into art and play with the composition to achieve an ideal representation of life and the past as I want to see it.
I can look back at my pictures and feel the gratitude of saying, "That was my doing, I made that." and there is nothing that feels better.
I have always been fascinated by pictures and photography, but I only really started taking up photography as a practice in 2011, when I got my first DSLR. Ever since, I've been practicing my photography on vacations and around town.
My weapon of choice is a Nikon D5200 and my iPhone 4S. With the help of these two tools, and Lightroom, I am able to express myself and show the world what I am capable of.
I normally don't use Photoshop because I like to keep my photos natural and have most of the playing around be with exposure, composition, aperture, etc.
I like to take pictures of anything that catches my eye, but I especially like taking pictures of nature.
